Beauty Bibles

This book is so handy it fits in your bag or makeup box.
It literally answers all your beauty questions it did mine and it still continues to do so.

I love this book because it guides you as to what colors to use based on your hair color or skin tone. It also has a huge section on haircare and hairstyles. It really is a complete beauty book.

My very first "How -to" book
This book inspired me to become a makeup artist.

I bought this book from makeup guru Merry Carlos- Baguio.

I Love it because Kevyn Aucoin transforms celebrities into iconic legends thru the art of makeup.

The third installment to my Kevyn Aucoin book collection. This book came out after Kevyn Aucoin died.
I think of it as a memoir through his art work.

I found this book at a book sale and still in good condition.

This book is special because it was given by my mentor Denise Go.
It's the same as the Sephora book it gives you a product guide for makeup and skincare.

My 2nd favorite book ( first is Making Faces) because it's a step by step guide book.

I always think of Bobbi Brown as the creator of the smokey eye.

My recent fave. A guide to the best products to use for hair and makeup.
It has the nicest pegs for flawless skin and natural yet creative eye makeup.

All of "my makeup bibles" have given me inspiration and ideas for looks. It still continues to do so. Makeup application and execution is a never ending learning process. I always go back and
re -read them to remind me of what the great makeup artists / stylists of our time have shared.
